Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer - CDK & TypeScript to design, build, and maintain robust infrastructure and CI/CD platforms across cloud environments.

You will design pipelines with GitHub Actions, manage Terraform and AWS CDK definitions, scale ARCs on EKS, enforce safe rollouts, and oversee artifact promotion and signing. This remote role includes a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong TypeScript and AWS CDK production experience.
• Expertise in reusable GitHub Actions workflows and OIDC authentication.
• Experience implementing automated rollbacks and progressive rollouts.
• Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure definitions and debugging.
• Familiarity with artifact packaging and signing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TypeScript, and Python.
• Contribute to Terraform and AWS CDK infrastructure definitions.
• Engineer and scale GitHub Actions platform components on EKS with ARC runners and OIDC auth.
• Implement automated and emergency rollbacks for CDK/CloudFormation and progressive rollouts.
• Develop CDK/CloudFormation deploy tooling and manage Artifactory image promotion and signing.
