Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an AWS Quality Data Engineer for a remote role with local Seattle preference. You will build automated tests to validate data movement, ensure schema consistency, and monitor data quality across pipelines.

Collaborate with data engineers, BI, and software teams to define data quality KPIs and SLAs, using Python, AWS services, and Airflow to deliver reliable, scalable data workloads.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for automation and data tests.
• Strong SQL and UNIX/Linux scripting skills.
• Experience with AWS data services and data quality tooling.
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestrators.
• Familiar with data validation and data quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated scripts validating source-to-target data movements.
• Create data quality dashboards and drift monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI, and software teams.
• Translate business rules into data quality KPIs and SLAs.
