ST Global Tech is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer in New York. The role is hybrid (remote possible) and requires hands-on work with scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and a strong, clear communicator who can thrive both independently and in teams.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of data engineering experience, deep AWS know-how (S3, ECS, IAM, security best practices), and a track record of designing AI-enabled data solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience focusing on scalable pipelines and ETL automation.
• Strong SQL skills with performance tuning and Snowflake familiarity preferred.
• AWS platform expertise including S3, ECS, IAM, and security best practices.
• Experience designing AI integration solutions within data workflows.
• Proficient in CI/CD with GitHub and testing frameworks (Python unit/integration, DBT tests).
• Proficiency in orchestration, error handling, and monitoring of data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models.
• Collaborate with teams to implement end-to-end data solutions in AWS.
• Ensure data reliability, monitoring, and incident response for pipelines.

We are seeking a hands on AWS Data Engineer with 15+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail oriented, and thrives both independently and in team settings.

Key Skills (Must Have):

• Advanced Python (OOP, multi threading, reusable packages, ETL automation, Airflow DAGs)
• Strong SQL (complex queries, performance optimization, Snowflake preferred)
• AWS expertise (S3, ECS, IAM, cloud security best practices)
• AI implementation experience with solution designing
• CI/CD with GitHub, testing frameworks (Python unit/integration, DBT tests)
• Data pipeline orchestration, error handling, and monitoring
