Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented AWS DevOps Engineer - Security to design and manage secure, scalable data pipelines and data lake architectures in a US-focused environment. The role emphasizes cloud-native automation, governance, and collaboration with engineering teams.

The candidate will leverage AWS services (Glue, S3, Redshift, SageMaker) to build data workflows, monitor security and compliance, and optimize ETL/ELT processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing and managing AWS-based data pipelines and security.
• Knowledge of data lakes, lakehouse, DWH, streaming and analytics platforms is desirable.
• Experience automating monitoring, scaling and governance using AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data lakes, lakehouse, DWH, streaming and analytics platforms.
• Build and manage Glue catalogs and Glue jobs.
• Architect and optimize AWS-based ETL/ELT, ML, and real-time data pipelines.
• Automate monitoring, scaling and governance using CloudWatch, EventBridge and Lambda.
• Own end-to-end environment automation and establish development tools/infrastructure.
• Document as-is state, perform gap analyses and propose options and recommendations.
