Job summary

AVB is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to own and operate a multi-account AWS environment, support security tooling, and back up the security lead. You will patch production, manage access, and ensure PCI DSS compliance, while collaborating with development teams on SaaS reliability.

The role offers a flexible remote work setup in the U.S., travel for company events a few times per year, and an opportunity to contribute to security and reliability across AVB’s platforms.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years deploying, securing, and operating production AWS environments.
• 2+ years in security operations including alert triage and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, secure, document, and maintain AWS infrastructure across a multi-account organization.
• Patch management coordination with Cloud System Administrator.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
