Job summary

Chamber is redefining cardiology with a secure, scalable cloud platform. We seek a Cloud Security and Infrastructure Engineer to own AWS security architecture, detection/response, HIPAA compliance, and infrastructure decisions that keep our production system secure and reliable.

You will drive least-privilege IAM, automate security pipelines, and align security reviews with our engineering lifecycle while maintaining a strong security posture across multiple AWS accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud security and infrastructure engineering in production.
• Deep fluency with AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail, KMS, Inspector).
• Experience with multi-account governance (Control Tower, Organizations) and container/serverless infra (ECS, EKS, Lambda).
• Familiarity with CIS, HIPAA, HITRUST, and AWS Well-Architected frameworks.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce least-privilege IAM architectures and cloud security controls across AWS accounts.
• Build automated detection and response pipelines and remediation workflows using AI tools.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation alongside the engineering team.
• Lead cross-functional security initiatives and embed threat modeling in the lifecycle.
• Own vulnerability management, security posture monitoring, incident detection/response, and HIPAA compliance programs.
• Shape cloud architecture decisions balancing security, cost, and reliability toward zero-trust principles.
• Document workflows, staffing, and tooling for active care programs and summarize gaps and priorities.
