Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks an AWS Cloud Engagement Leader to own the AWS business for the West region, spanning California, Oregon, Arizona, and related sub-LOBs.

You will partner with regional leadership, delivery, AWS stakeholders, and clients to drive cloud-enabled transformation across diverse industries. The role combines consultative business development with hands-on AWS migration, modernization and platform engineering; a player-coach in deal development, pre-sales and delivery oversight,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field required.
• Hands-on AWS infra & platform engineering experience.
• Experience in a senior consultative / pre-sales role preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS org structure and co-sell programs advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the AWS business across the West region (CA, OR, AZ, CO and related sub-LOBs).
• Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to identify cloud opportunities across industries.
• Lead end-to-end engagement activities: solutioning, pre-sales, deal shaping and delivery oversight for AWS migration & modernization.
• Build strategic relationships with AWS and co-sell/co-delivery programs.
• Identify, develop, and close cloud transformation opportunities across the portfolio.
• Serve as regional AWS technical & business point of contact; act as Engagement Manager/Lead Consultant/Architect as needed.
• Mentor delivery managers and account teams on cloud business best practices.
• Maintain billable utilization in the 50–65% range while balancing BD responsibilities.
• Stay current on AWS capabilities, migration trends, FinOps and AI-driven delivery models.
• Willingness to travel within the West region as needed.
