Job summary

Nationwide in the United States is seeking a senior AVP-level actuary for Personal Lines pricing and actuarial modeling. You will lead a team of actuaries, guide strategic pricing initiatives, and collaborate with finance, analytics, and technology to enhance pricing accuracy and business outcomes.

The role requires a FCAS designation, extensive pricing and leadership experience, and the ability to influence across teams. Remote within the U.S. with occasional travel to headquarters as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate actuarial science or related field preferred.
• FCAS designation highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and project-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial and technical leadership across pricing and data initiatives.
• Oversee development and maintenance of pricing models.
• Develop strategic pricing roadmap for Personal Lines.
• Lead a team, manage performance, salary planning and development.
• Ensure regulatory awareness and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
