Job summary

3M is seeking a Manager, Civil Aviation Sales - Americas to lead the aerospace OEM and tier customer sales team across the Americas, set the commercial strategy, and drive growth programs while strengthening executive relationships with key customers. This role requires coaching a high‑performing team, managing pipeline and territory planning in Salesforce, and delivering disciplined business rhythms.

A bachelor’s degree or higher and 7+ years of sales leadership in aerospace or related sectors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 7+ years of sales, marketing, business development, strategic account management, or commercial leadership experience.
• 7+ years of experience leading customer-facing teams, strategic accounts, regional sales organizations, or complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Key Account Managers focused on aerospace OEM and tier customers.
• Lead and align regional territory sales roles to drive local execution and growth across the Americas.
• Build and execute the commercial sales strategy for aerospace OEM and tier customers.
• Strengthen executive relationships with major aerospace OEMs and tier suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Drive growth through platform-based opportunities, design-ins, and production programs.
• Establish disciplined operating rhythms: account/territory planning, pipeline management (Salesforce.com), forecasting, pricing, and reviews.
