Job summary

Egis is seeking a Remote Aviation Design Manager to lead design teams, ensure quality, and drive engineering excellence on aviation projects in the U.S. You will mentor designers, enforce standards, manage resources, and partner with Project Managers to deliver compliant, high-quality designs.

Based in a Remote-enabled role with Dallas-area opportunities, this position emphasizes collaboration with Practice Leaders and Discipline Leads to sustain growth and innovation across the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design teams and ensuring design quality across multiple projects.
• Ability to establish performance expectations and accountability in design staff.
• Strong coordination with project managers and discipline leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop design leads and technical staff.
• Establish design standards, QC procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate workload and resources across projects to meet deadlines.
• Support project delivery and align design work with client requirements and regulatory standards.
