Job summary

Sedgwick Aviation Services is recruiting an Aviation Claims Surveyor to support global insurers with complex aviation claims across an international platform. You will handle claims from minor incidents to major accidents, investigate loss circumstances, and liaise with airlines and repairers, applying technical expertise to advance claims.

Ideal candidates possess 15+ years aviation maintenance experience, hold an EASA B1/B2 license, and are prepared for short-notice international travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years relevant aviation maintenance experience.
• Hold an EASA B1/B2 engineering licence or equivalent.
• Good IT skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Technical understanding on current generation aircraft.
• Must be able to undertake short notice international travel.

Responsibilities

• Handle aviation insurance claims from minor incidents to major accidents.
• Investigate loss circumstances and assess risk factors.
• Liaise with airlines/operators/repairers and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice to progress and finalise claims.
• Attend accident sites as required.
