Job summary

NBCP Communications is seeking an experienced AV Systems Designer / Sales Engineer to join our team in a full-time role. You will design AV and VC systems, prepare proposals and BOMs, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and installation teams.

The role offers minimal travel (<10%), up to 25% remote work, and a compensation package with base salary plus commission; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in AV systems design and proposal development.
• Strong understanding of AV system signal flow, design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operation.
• Ability to develop accurate equipment lists, system designs, and technical proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales opportunities through direct customer engagement, research, and industry networking.
• Design AV, video conferencing, and unified communications systems based on customer requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, scopes of work, and project pricing.
• Create CAD or Visio system drawings and installation plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and installation teams.
