Job summary

General Motors (GM) seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Case Technical Program Manager to lead the integrated execution of safety cases for ADS. This senior role drives planning, alignment, and evidence management across engineering, validation, operations, and product teams to enable safe, scalable ADS deployment.

The candidate will translate safety objectives into actionable workstreams, manage dependencies, and ensure traceability of claims to evidence and decisions while guiding governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, robotics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex technical programs in autonomous vehicles or safety-critical domains.
• Experience translating objectives into structured execution plans and ownership.
• Experience developing or managing safety cases and safety evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated program plans for ADS safety case workstreams and milestones.
• Coordinate inputs from AI/ML, systems engineering, validation, and safety teams.
• Maintain traceability between safety strategies, claims, evidence, and decisions.
• Drive risk mitigation, dependencies, and executive communications.
