Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior AV Safety Analytics Lead to drive the AV-SEA program within the SAFE-ADS framework. You will shape safety analytics strategy, connect DDT metrics to program milestones, and partner with engineering, safety, legal, and communications to deliver evidence-driven safety narratives for executives.

You will mentor team members, define long-range roadmaps, manage cross-functional programs, and report to the AV-SEA Director.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and 8–10+ years leading technical or scientific programs.
• Experience designing safety analytics strategies and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to translate analytic work into executive-ready narratives.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain AV safety analytics strategy linking metrics to program milestones.
• Lead end-to-end safety analyses and supervise AV‑SEA analytics outputs.
• Translate complex analytics into clear safety narratives for executives and governance bodies.
• Mentor AV‑SEA team members and coordinate with engineering, legal, and communications.
• Represent AV‑SEA in review forums, drive cross‑functional alignment and roadmap execution.
