Job summary

Solutionz, Inc. is seeking an experienced AV Programmer to translate project requirements into reliable control experiences. You will develop GUIs, program and test control systems, and support commissioning across nationwide environments.

This role emphasizes collaboration with PM, Engineering, Design, and installation teams, with occasional travel to customer sites or Solutionz offices. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in audiovisual programming and strong proficiency with Crestron, Q-SYS, and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of audiovisual programming or control system programming experience.
• Proficiency with Crestron, Q-SYS, and Extron; AMX experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow, control systems, networking, and integrated AV tech.
• Experience designing GUIs and programming commercial AV systems.
• Ability to read SOFs, BOMs, CAD drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting, commissioning, and supporting complex AV systems.
• CTS, Crestron, Q-SYS or Extron certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field preferred but not required.
• Occasional travel to customer sites, Solutionz offices, and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GUIs for control system touch panels.
• Develop system integration programs for Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron and other platforms.
• Gather programming requirements from project teams and customers.
• Review BOMs, CAD drawings, and project docs to understand functionality.
• Develop touch panel layouts and control-flow documentation.
• Program and test control code prior to deployment.
• Work remotely and onsite with installation teams to complete programming.
• Provide remote programming support to service technicians.
• Troubleshoot complex AV systems and workflows.
• Maintain programming standards and organized project files.
