Job summary

Clear. in McLean, VA is seeking an experienced AV Programmer 3 to design, develop, and support integrated AV and control systems from design through commissioning. You will work on high-profile environments and collaborate with AV engineers, designers and project teams.

The role requires hands-on programming with Crestron, AMX, Extron and Q-SYS, strong problem-solving, and the ability to read drawings and documentation. US security clearance is preferred/required depending on project.

Qualifications

• Experience with Crestron, AMX, Extron and/or Q-SYS programming.
• Understanding of AV control systems, signal flow and system integration.
• Ability to read and interpret AV drawings, schematics and system documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working alongside AV designers, engineers and installation teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance is preferred/required depending on project assignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programming for integrated AV systems.
• Program and configure control systems across complex AV environments.
• Work with platforms including Crestron, AMX, Extron and Q-SYS.
• Develop control logic, user interfaces and system functionality.
• Integrate AV equipment, control systems and networked technologies.
• Troubleshoot programming and system integration issues.
• Support system testing, commissioning and client handover.
• Review technical designs and work closely with AV engineers, designers and project teams.
• Provide technical support throughout installation and commissioning.
