Job summary

Parallel Domain is seeking a Product Engineer to collaborate with the Chief Product Officer to build prototypes and manage product integrations for our simulation and neural reconstruction tools.

You will blend hands-on engineering, product management, and direct customer interaction, traveling to sit with automotive, drone, and robotics customers to capture workflows and translate them into roadmaps and tangible product improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software or field engineering delivering platform products.
• Experience in a B2B enterprise environment.
• Fluent in Python and C++, proficient with AI-enabled development workflows.
• Willingness to travel to sit with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build new product prototypes for Parallel Domain’s core products from discovery to prototyping and handoff.
• Build and manage product integrations with other simulation tools such as Nvidia.
• Develop deep understanding of customer workflows across autonomy, robotics, computer vision and simulation; spend time on site with customers.
• Contribute to roadmap and quarterly planning across Product and Engineering.
• Define and track success metrics for the product area (adoption, efficiency, throughput, coverage, performance, reliability, revenue impact).
• Translate complex technical and customer needs into clear product direction.
• Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions clearly across audiences.
• Represent the voice of the customer and drive high-impact capabilities for the market.
• Collaborate on launch planning and enablement with documentation, demos, and training.
• Stay close to evolving autonomy, robotics, synthetic data, and AI infrastructure markets.
