Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer to join a distributed team. In this fully remote role, you will develop test strategies, create test cases, execute manual and automated tests, and report defects to ensure our automotive products meet high standards of performance and safety.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design automated test scripts, and contribute to QA process improvements while thriving in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of QA experience, with automotive/embedded focus.
Experience with automated testing and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Familiarity with automotive standards and protocols (AUTOSAR, CAN, ISO 26262) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans and cases for automotive software/hardware.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects; work with teams to resolve issues.
Design automated test scripts to increase efficiency and coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Contribute to QA process improvements and best practices.
