Job summary

Muvi Entertainment is seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated tests for web and mobile apps built on the Muvi platform. You will translate design docs into repeatable test cases and perform manual testing for upcoming features.

You will design test frameworks, implement UI/API/ performance tests with Java, Selenium and Appium, and collaborate with back-end and front-end teams to ensure quality across devices and browsers. This remote-friendly role offers flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of QA experience with automation for Web, iOS and Android apps.
• H active automation framework development for UI, API, performance and security testing.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Selenium, REST APIs and SQL.
• Experience in cross-platform, cross-browser, API, mobile (iOS/Android) and TV testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; documenting test cases and defects.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and STLC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation tests based on regression criteria for QA of all system aspects (functional, security, performance).
• Establish an automated UI testing environment for Android, iOS and Web apps.
• Work with back-end and front-end teams through design and test stages to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Write and maintain tests within an automation framework using Selenium, Appium similar suites.
• Organize and record detailed test results; provide reports of results and project status.
• Write and maintain test cases and perform all functional tests including Regression, Smoke, Sanity.
• Develop, execute, and interpret load, stress, and other automated performance tests.
• Create detailed test cases, documenting expected product functionality from specifications.
