Job summary

Allied Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to efficiently create clear, concise, and actionable test case reports for Android, iOS, and web applications. The role focuses on identifying usability and functional issues before product release while collaborating with designers and developers.

The candidate will review Figma designs, craft testing scenarios, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a remote setup with international projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of application behavior, navigation, and API basics.
• Experience testing mobile apps and web applications.
• Familiarity with Figma designs and user flow testing.
• Experience with Jira, Trello, ClickUp, Notion, or similar tools.
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
• Own laptop (minimum 8GB RAM recommended).
• Stable high-speed internet connection.
• Comfortable attending meetings via Zoom/Slack/Google Meet.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for Android, iOS, and web applications.
• Create structured test cases and bug reports with clear reproduction steps.
• Review Figma designs and convert them into user stories and testing scenarios.
• Identify UX inconsistencies, edge cases, and usability issues.
• Test APKs, internal builds, Google Play Console tracks, and TestFlight apps.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to improve product quality.
• Track bugs and ensure fixes are verified properly.
