Job summary

Simera in San Francisco seeks an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure software products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

You will implement scalable test frameworks, create API and UI tests, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to improve test coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major automation framework.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Experience with API testing and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to identify automation opportunities.
• Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop reusable automation components and CI/CD integration for continuous testing.
• Identify, reproduce, and track software defects, and document test results.
