Job summary

Simera is seeking a detail-oriented Application Tester to evaluate software applications and ensure quality across web and mobile platforms. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, review requirements, and document defects with clear reproduction steps.

Collaborating with developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, you’ll help validate functionality against business needs and participate in release testing and production verification.

Qualifications

• Must have experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Excellent understanding of testing types including functional, regression, and usability.
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and document defects clearly.
• Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and SQL is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality.
• Review requirements and specs to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
