Job summary

Simera is seeking a detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions ensuring high-quality software. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams across the software lifecycle to identify automation opportunities and improve testing efficiency.

The role requires strong automation experience, programming skills, and familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation, scripting, and software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major automation framework.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of API testing and RESTful services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites.
• Analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities.
• Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks and components.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and perform API testing.
• Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing as needed.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and stakeholders.
