Humana, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, simulate and test automated processes for our QA infra. This remote nationwide role involves integrating UI/API tests into CI/CD, collaborating with engineers and product teams, and leveraging Claude Code for productivity.

Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required. The position requires 4+ years in automation, strong Claude Code skills, and experience with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, REST APIs, and SAFe Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Claude code and AI coding assistants.

The Automation Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Automation Engineer designs, programs, simulates, and tests automated processes, and is responsible for detailed design specifications and other documents. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
