Qualifications

• Experience in automated and manual testing across complex software projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems (GitHub Actions, Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and Gatling, and API testing.
• Experience with defect tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla) and database validation (SQL).
• Testing web apps, APIs, and services with a security-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure quality standards.
• Write test cases/scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with test managers and developers; lead testing efforts.
• Perform verification and validation of IT systems and products.
• Document and communicate test results and progress to management.
• Support analysis of test results and resolution of issues; mentor junior testers.
• Create daily test metrics and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Participate in broader IT activities like requirements, design, installation, and operations.
