Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Proficiency in writing/executing test cases and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, TestNG/JUnit).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with version control (Git/Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter/Gatling).
• Experience with defect tracking (JIRA/Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of SQL and databases for validating data.
• Experience testing web apps, APIs, services.
• Understanding of security testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures.
• Develop schedules and approaches for testing activities.
• Write test cases/scripts and identify data for scenarios.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and developers.
• Perform tests to ensure defect-free operation.
• Verify work products using defined methods and environment.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Support analysis of test results and issue resolution.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
• Conduct various IT system engineering activities as needed.
• Provide technical solutions for complex problems.
• Mentor junior testers and guide testing activities.
• Translate business requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Participate in test reviews and provide feedback.
• Manage risk-based, exploratory, and context-driven testing approaches.
