Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks an Automated Test Engineer (ATE) for a 100% remote U.S. based role. You will develop and execute test plans for information systems, products, and services, ensuring standards and end-user requirements are met.

The position requires strong programming in C#, Java, or Python, plus experience with manual and automated testing, CI/CD, and defect management within Agile/SDLC environments. Public Trust (MBI) eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total work experience.
• 10+ years in software testing/QA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to meet requirements.
• Write tests, scripts, and data for scenarios and perform walkthroughs.
• Lead tests of software/IT systems to ensure defect-free operation.
• Document test results and communicate to stakeholders.
• Support analysis of results and resolution of issues.
• Create daily test metrics and reports.
• Mentor junior testers and translate business needs into test scenarios.
