Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Autodesk Inventor Specialist to contribute to a cutting-edge project at the intersection of mechanical engineering and AI. You will create, review, and refine parametric CAD models and technical drawings for manufacturing and AI workflow integration.

Remote collaboration with cross-functional teams is required. Strong GD&T, DFM, and CAD scripting skills (Python, iLogic, VBA) are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and parametric CAD modeling.
• Strong GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5) and DFM experience.
• Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings.
• Experience with assembly-level mechanical design and reverse engineering.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (injection molding, sheet metal, CNC, casting).
• CAD scripting or automation skills (Python, iLogic, VBA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop fully parametric 3D CAD models in Autodesk Inventor per design requirements.
• Modify and update existing CAD models while preserving parametric integrity.
• Review CAD models for dimensional accuracy, GD&T, manufacturability.
• Create and validate engineering drawings per GD&T standards.
• Apply DFM principles across manufacturing processes.
• Document design decisions and audit findings to support AI model development.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams and provide technical feedback.
