Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an Autodesk Inventor Specialist to contribute to an innovative AI-meets-mechanical engineering project. You will create, review, and refine parametric CAD models and technical documentation using Autodesk Inventor, collaborating with remote teams to feed data for AI systems.

In this contractor role, you’ll ensure GD&T compliance, DFMs across molding, sheet metal, CNC, and casting, and you’ll document design decisions and revisions to support development of next-generation

Qualifications

• Experience with parametric CAD modeling to edit-level detail.
• Strong GD&T understanding and ASME Y14.5 knowledge.
• Ability to interpret and produce manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop fully parametric 3D CAD models of parts and assemblies.
• Modify and update CAD models while preserving parametric integrity.
• Audit CAD models for dimensional accuracy and GD&T compliance.
• Create engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Apply DFM principles across molding, sheet metal, CNC, and casting.
• Document design decisions and rationale to support AI model development.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams and provide technical feedback.
