Job summary

Allegion, a global safety and security leader, seeks a Service Technician – Stanley Access Technologies to service/maintain automatic doors remotely from New York. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and record-keeping, while ensuring safety and compliance with ANSI standards.

A flexible schedule and travel will be involved in a dynamic, growth‑oriented team. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License.
• Frequently going up and down ladders.
• Standing on concrete for several hours.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50-75 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule including nights/weekends/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and related electro/mechanical gear.
• Perform preventive maintenance per the service program.
• Record productive time and travel time accurately.
• Maintain detailed work records and parts usage.
• Stay updated on equipment changes and ANSI156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details current; manage company vehicle/tools.
• Maintain inventory and customer relations; assist others in install/service methods.
