Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner for Auto and Commercial Bodily Injury in a telecommuter-friendly role. You will analyze complex auto bodily injury claims, review coverages, complete investigations, determine liability, and assess damages to support timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate has experience with personal and commercial auto policies, strong communication skills, and licensing requirements. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills and PC literacy including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Processes complex auto commercial and personal line claims, including bodily injury and documents files properly.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management with independent adjusters for investigations.
• Reports large claims to excess carrier(s).
• Develops action plans to meet state contact deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; manages salvage disposal.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
