Qualificações

• 3+ years of auto claims experience, including PIP/MedPay handling.
• Working knowledge of no-fault/PIP and MedPay coverage, medical terminology, and billing.
• Ability to interpret policy language and explain decisions clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially with providers and attorneys.

Responsabilidades

• Manage commercial auto first-party medical benefit claims from a remote office.
• Investigate PIP and Medical Payments to verify coverage, limits, and COB requirements.
• Review policy language, statutes, fee schedules, deadlines, and medical bills for accuracy.
• Evaluate medical expenses, wage loss, and other PIP benefits per policy and law.
• Maintain accurate payment ledgers and monitor limits, deductibles, and exhaustion of benefits.
• Communicate claim status and determinations clearly with insureds, providers, and internal partners.
• Escalate disputes, potential fraud, or legal issues when needed.
• Prepare timely correspondence and benefit decisions within authority.
• Maintain organized claim files and timely diaries; ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Travel when required for events or investigations, if needed.
