Job summary
TUV SUD America is hiring for an Inspector role focused on ASME BPVC related inspections and NB-263 RC I-1 duties. The position requires NB Commission credentials, a National Board course, and completion of the Authorized Inspector exam, plus substantial on‑the‑job training.
The candidate will document daily inspections, prepare reports, and support safety compliance while collaborating across sites. Remote opportunities are described with travel; local travel to client sites is expected.
Qualifications
- Meet NB-263 RC I-1 requirements and hold the NB Commission card.
- Completed National Board New Construction Commission course and Authorized Inspector exam.
- Minimum 80 hours of on‑the‑job ASME shop/field fabrication and inspection training.
Responsibilities
- Perform NB-263 RC I-1 authorized duties for ABIIC clients.
- Document inspections daily in the Inspector Diary.
- Prepare technical reports per ASME BPVC codes.
- Stay updated on certifications, safety procedures, and technologies.
- Attend joint reviews of active Certificate Holders as required.
- Support company vision and policies and cooperate across locations.
- Ensure a safe, healthy work environment and follow EH&S rules.
- Perform Third Party Inspections (TPI).
