Job summary

TUV SUD America is seeking an Inspector to perform NB-263, RCI-1, ASME BPVC inspections for ABIIC clients. You will document inspections, prepare reports, and stay current with certifications and safety procedures.

The role requires a National Board Authorized Inspector course, completion of the NB exam, and strong communication and collaboration skills. This position is remote with travel, based in the Western Pennsylvania area.

Qualifications

• Attended the National Board course for Authorized Inspectors and passed the Authorized Inspector exam.
• Minimum 80 hours of on-the-job training in ASME shop/field fabrication and inspection under supervision.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, customer orientation, and self-management skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PDF generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Authorized Duties required by NB-263, RCI-1, 4-2, ASME QAI-1, 7-2 and the ASME BPVC Codes for ABIIC clients.
• Document daily inspections performed for verification, witness activities, and quality program monitoring in the Inspector Diary.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation as required by the ASME BPVC Codes.
• Stay updated on certifications, compliance courses, experience criteria, safety requirements, procedures, and technologies.
• Attend joint reviews of Certificate Holders assigned as required.
• Support the Company's vision and mission statement.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for general cooperation and support of all Company, Client, and affiliate locations.
• Expected to work in a manner that supports a safe and healthy work environment for themselves and others.
• Perform Third Party Inspections (TPI).
