Job summary

UMB is seeking an Audit Specialist to support annual audits for our alternative investment fund clients. The role involves handling tasks related to the financial reporting process and will enable professional growth within a team-focused environment.

You will operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull and summarize data for client financial statements, reconcile and clean data for audited statements, and collaborate with the Fund Accounting team to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years of undergraduate study in a business-related field.
• Strong communication and review skills with an interest in audit and accounting.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines during peak audit season.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull and summarize exports for client financial statements.
• Reconcile and clean up data for the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Partner with the Fund Accounting team and peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction.
