UMB is seeking an Audit Specialist to support the annual audit for our fund accounting clients. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and exposure to accounting concepts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include pulling data with Excel and UMB systems, reconciling figures, and coordinating with Fund Accounting to ensure timely, accurate financial statements for our clients. The team values initiative and clear communication.

Qualifications

• You have completed at least two years in an undergraduate program in a business related field.
• You have strong communication and review skills with a desire to learn more in audit and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull in and summarize exports for client financial statements.
• Reconcile and clean up data for the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Partner with the Fund Accounting team and other peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction.
