Job summary

UMB is seeking an Audit Specialist to support annual audit work for our alternative investment fund clients. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and meeting deadlines, with opportunities to grow in audit and accounting concepts.

The team handles data extraction, reconciliation, and collaboration with Fund Accounting to deliver audited financial statements and client-ready outputs during the January–June peak season.

Qualifications

• At least two years in an undergraduate program in a business related field.
• Strong communication and review skills; willingness to learn in audit/accounting.
• Team oriented and able to work with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull in and summarize exports for client financial statements.
• Reconcile and clean up data for the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Partner with Fund Accounting and other peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction.
