Job summary

UMB is seeking an Audit Specialist to support the annual audit process for our alternative investment fund clients. This seasonal role concentrates audit preparation from January through June, offering professional growth and exposure to audit and accounting concepts.

You will work with Fund Accounting and peers to ensure accurate client statements. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and precision, with opportunities to learn within a trusted, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of undergraduate study in a business-related field.
• Strong communication and review skills with a desire to learn more in audit and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull in and summarize exports to use for client financial statements
• Reconcile and clean up data for the preparation of audited financial statements
• Partner with the Fund Accounting team and other peers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction
