Job summary

UMB seeks an Audit Specialist to assist with the annual audit of financial reporting for our alternative investment fund clients. You will operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull and summarize exports for client statements, and you will reconcile and clean up data to prepare audited financial statements.

This role is heavily seasonal, offering growth, exposure to audit concepts, and teamwork within the Audit group as you support deadlines and client needs.

Qualifications

• Two years in an undergraduate program in a business-related field.
• Strong communication and review skills with a desire to learn more in audit and accounting.
• Proficiency using Excel and accounting systems to prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excel and UMB accounting systems to pull and summarize exports for client financial statements.
• Reconcile and clean up data for the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Partner with the Fund Accounting team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and client satisfaction.
