Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced CPA to lead not-for-profit audit engagements in a fully remote role. You will oversee multiple client projects, manage resources and schedules, and ensure high-quality audits in line with GAAP and regulatory standards.

You will build strong client relationships, deliver strategic recommendations, and contribute to growth initiatives while mentoring junior staff and guiding audit teams to success.

Qualifications

• CPA license required for licensure and practice.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• 3+ years auditing not-for-profit organizations.
• Experience with single audits.
• Experience with uniform guidance compliance audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven supervisory and training success.
• Excellent auditing skills and knowledge of standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple client engagements, allocate resources, schedule, and manage audit workflows.
• Foster client relationships by managing expectations and driving satisfaction.
• Provide strategic recommendations on operational and process improvements.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on new business pursuits and growth strategy.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and evaluations.
