Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a law degree with licensure preferred; six+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience is expected. The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Applies client-specific billing protocols and GAPS to review invoices; escalates new protocols as needed.
• Communicates audit findings and responds to billing inquiries from law firms, documenting outcomes.
• Processes invoice volume according to workflows and SLAs to ensure timely audit completion.
• Performs reasonableness reviews of invoices by analyzing billing details and applying audit rules.
• Uses Sedgwick’s Legal Spend Management platforms to review invoices and route items.
• Collaborates with managers to ensure consistency in applying guidelines.
