Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Part-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International ATCT in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports FAA air traffic controller training services and requires the candidate to operate simulation tools and respond with proper ATC phraseology.

The position involves completing classroom and lab certifications, working with a multidisciplinary training team, and supporting high-fidelity simulations for trainee air

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) with basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate the simulated radar display and voice comm system to imitate pilots and remote ATC facilities during training exercises.
• Input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions and use ATC terminology.
• Complete classroom and lab certifications to function as Remote Pilot Operator on all positions.
