Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) seeks a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to support FAA air traffic controller training at the Regional Training Site in Elgin, IL. The RPO will simulate pilots and ATC scenarios, operate a radar/voice system, and ensure accurate protocol and phraseology throughout training exercises.

Successful candidates will complete classroom and lab certifications, possess basic computer skills, and have the ability to read diagrams and manuals. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals.
• Clear verbal communication; understood in English.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a flight training simulator as Remote Pilot Operator.
• Input proper entries and translate information into ATC terminology.
• Respond to students via the voice communication system using standard phraseology.
• Complete required classroom and lab certifications for RPO role.
