Job summary

Prisma International, Inc. is seeking experienced ATA-certified (or equivalent) translators to join our network of independent contractors. This is a 100% remote position delivering written translations for Prisma clients.

We support languages including Chinese-Simplified, Korean, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese, and provide access to CAT tools like XTM and Trados to help you work efficiently. Ideal candidates have government-translation experience, full fluency in English and the

Qualifications

• ATA-certified or equivalent status from a recognized language institution.
• Two years of human translation experience for government offices.
• Three professional references who can verify certification.
• Full fluency in English and the target language.
• Trained or accredited through a higher education institution.
• Minimum age 18+ and minimum education: High School Diploma.
• Reliable desktop PC or laptop with secure high-speed internet.
• Experience using CAT tools (e.g. XTM, Trados).
• Ability to use Adobe Acrobat for PDF markups.

Responsibilities

• Provide written translations using a CAT tool; XTM access provided.
• Adhere to project instructions, glossaries, and reference materials.
• Ensure content style is culturally appropriate for the target language.
• Perform language quality checks before delivery.
• Deliver translations by deadlines and within project budgets.
• Review translated PDFs using Adobe markup tools for accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with Prisma team members.
• Participate in quality management processes (CARs, RCAs).
• Protect sensitive information (PHI, PII, SBU) during projects.
• Follow Prisma's Master Service Agreement and Vendor Guide.
