The ideal candidate is a CPA with 5+ years of public accounting experience in audit and SSARS, excels in project management and communication, and can influence firm-wide quality initiatives from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience in audit and SSARS.
• Industry experience in government, not-for-profit, construction, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills with sound judgment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and influence change.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and willingness to support team objectives beyond assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent quality reviews for audits, AUPs, and SSARS engagements to ensure consistent application of methodology and standards.
• Support strategic initiatives related to assurance methodology and quality management.
• Evaluate methodology changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and firm practices.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data to identify risks and support resource allocation decisions.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and special projects as needed.
