Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking an Associate Systems Analyst to support MyChart, EpicCare Link and Care Everywhere initiatives. The role focuses on enabling digital experiences for patients and staff, collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align solutions with needs.

You will assist in troubleshooting, training, and coordination, with opportunities to contribute to system enhancements and data reporting in a remote, full-time setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with healthcare information systems and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) preferred.
• Experience in systems administration and providing insights to business operations.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, and maintenance of software systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting, end-user training, and basic project coordination.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure system functionality and user support.
• Help with data import/export and basic reporting.
• Assist in testing system updates and documenting results.
• Maintain security settings under guidance of senior analysts.
