Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is seeking an Associate Product Owner for an internship program. You will join an Agile Release Train, mentored by a Sr. Product Owner, and contribute to multiple IT projects within your team. Candidates should be enrolled in a Business, IT management or CS degree and able to analyze data to understand user behavior.

Position is remote, full-time temporary, with hourly wages and a 401(k) plan. Sponsorship for employment is not offered, and the application closes on Sep 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Business, IT management or CS degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to utilize data to understand user behavior.
• Identify project's exact requirements from start to finish.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as an Associate Product Owner on an Agile Release Train (ART), partnering with an experienced Sr. Product Owner mentor.
• Participate as an active team member working on various IT projects within your assigned team.
• Provide input into the prioritization of your team’s work.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and represent those needs to your team.
• Report out progress on your team’s objectives.
