Job summary

Mutual Of Omaha is seeking a Business Systems Analyst or Consultant to collaborate with customer areas, define business requirements, and improve product and service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. The role supports research, development, and implementation of business systems and processes in a remote-capable US/PR setting.

The position emphasizes analytical leadership, recommendations, cross-functional collaboration, and change management across enterprise systems and practices.

Qualifications

• Facilitate business analysis and requirements gathering by assessing current-state processes and identifying opportunities.
• Develop and communicate recommendations and build the business case for changes to practices and technology systems.
• Apply understanding of cross-functional business processes, compliance and workflows to support applications.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence through business tools and emerging technologies.
• Lead testing, implementation and change management activities with test strategies and plans.
• Develop and implement communication and training plans to guide adoption across units.

Responsibilities

• Apply an in-depth understanding of cross-functional business processes, compliance and workflows to support applications and evaluate current and future processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence, leveraging tools and methodologies to improve operations.
• Lead testing, implementation and change management activities with high-level test strategies and plans.
• Develop communication and training plans, guide adoption across business units, and act as a trusted advisor on change management.
