Job summary

USG Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate Producer/Broker to join an existing production team for mentorship and training, with the goal of developing their own book of business and leading their own production team when eligible.

The candidate should have strong relationship-building skills to work with targeted carriers and retail agents. Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, plus sales drive, is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, coverages, and terminology.
• Sales oriented, capable of building new relationships.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Reader.
• Strong business writing and analytical skills.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and team‑oriented.
• 2–3 years in a Production Assistant role preferred; 1–3 years with a wholesaler preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain underwriting files and understand policy reviews and endorsements.
• Understand markets and underwriting guidelines.
• Solicit new business and establish relationships within a territory.
• Train and mentor under a Producer/Broker to develop a book of business.
• Coordinate and handle administrative workflows with support teams.
