Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Associate Project Manager to support natural resources, cultural resources, and permitting services for clients across sectors. You will assist with planning, scheduling, and regulatory coordination while growing toward greater responsibility.

The role is remote, with candidates located in Georgia and a preference for the Atlanta metro area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental-related field.
• Three years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, including 1 year of managing projects.
• Experience supporting natural resources, cultural resources, and permitting services.
• GA permitting experience.
• Experience managing project tasks and coordinating field efforts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering projects by assisting with schedules, budgets, task management, and client deliverables.
• Coordinate and support multidisciplinary teams providing environmental services.
• Serve as a task lead for project components of varying size and complexity.
• Conduct or support field assessments and permitting efforts.
• Prepare permit applications, technical reports, and agency coordination materials.
• Assist with agency coordination and permit compliance activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
